Since then, SIU NAM concentrated entirely on his theater acting job. Due to his role as a murderer in one of the plays, he was drawn into a strange serial killer case and accidentally meets his colleague LEE CHOR KIU's (Maggie Siu) boyfriend JEUNG SAI YIN (Moses Chan) and his sister JEUNG SAI TING (Aimee Chan). During their interactions, SIU NAM noticed YIN was very similar to the serial killer suspect and had an abnormal feeling towards TING. The relationship of the four individuals seem controversial. When SIU NAM wanted to clarify the truth to the serial killer case, he realizes he's getting further and further away from the truth. His sense of conceivability gets even more shuddering and disappointing.

Ko Yan is a prodigious music composer, who had been preparing take office in Cheuk Lai Yuen in Chang’an. Kiu Bo-lung is a wandering musician, and was on the run because he had killed a corrupt government official. Incidentally, the two of them ran into each other, and Ko Yan became the scapegoat for Kiu Bo-lung, and took his identity, becoming an official. Unexpectedly, Ko Yan did not die, by some miracle, but lost his memory, and began wandering around Chang’an. Bo-lung met Ko Yan once again, and having discovered that the latter had amazing potential to be a composer, Bo-lung welcomed him into Cheuk Lai Yuen, in an effort to develop his own career. The two of them then build up a mutually appreciative friendship. 

Ko Yan has a fiance named Yeuk Yin, and because of a guilty conscience, Bo-lung cancelled the wedding, causing Yeuk Yin’s hatred of him to turn to love instead. Ko Yan conversely began liking her immensely, and pined for her. On the other hand, Yeuk Yin’s good sister Zoi San also joined Cheuk Lai Yuen in order to train, hoping to become a professional dancer. She and Bo-lung turn from enemies to partners… In the end, the enmity of the two men over their identities, the relationship tangle of the two women and the fate of the four of them all come to a resolution through the event organised by the Imperial Palace.

Through the song and dance of Cheuk Lai Yuen and rivalry of the dancers, the lead characters singly hunt for their own individuality and identity, self-worth and goals in life, resulting in conflict, tension, love, all making up a riveting and captivating story.

Kevin’s character was obsessed with Muay Thai boxing. Along with his si hing Kenny Wong (黃德斌), the pair started boxing in Thailand’s black market due to a moment of greed. As a result, Kevin committed an error that would haunt him for the rest of his life.

Returning to Hong Kong, Kevin was eager to forget his boxing past. He found a job in the security department of a sporting goods company, hoping to live a plain life outside of the boxing ring. Kevin attracted the romantic interest of his superior, Selena Li (李詩韻).

Resolving an initial misunderstanding with Kevin, Raymond Wong, who worked as an office assistant at the sporting goods company, discovered that they shared a mutual passion for Muay Thai boxing. Kevin returned to boxing association, Dragon Fist Hall, to nurture the talent of Raymond Wong and mute boxer, Nancy Wu (胡定欣). Acting as the duo’s mentor, Kevin worked towards his singular passion for boxing once again, while freeing himself from painful past memories.

Unfortunately, Kenny Wong’s jealousy towards Kevin’s success morphed into hate. Kenny plotted to undermine the trust between Kevin and Raymond. Will the duo’s former friendship and current rivalry be ultimately settled inside the boxing ring?
