Young housewife YUEN SUK HEUNG (Myolie Wu) accidentally enters a mysterious website, which allowed her to change anything she can imagine. For example, she switched her fine waist size for her brother's acceptance into a well-known school. Using her luck, she helped friends exchange for better romantic relationships. HEUNG eventually becomes addicted to the website and was unable to pull herself out, especially when she suspected her husband KU KA YAN (Johnson Lee) is having an affair, she did not hesitate to switch her life with her good friend HAU YEUK HOI (Selena Li), who married a wealthy husband. HEUNG borrowed HOI's power to recapture her husband's heart, while HOI just wanted HEUNG to help her handle her bossy mother-in-law LUI FUNG (Kiki Sheung). Unfortunately, the two fall into a deep trap, going deeper and deeper. Without notice, the mysterious website suddenly disappears one day. The relationship of the two families ended up being linked in various ways, where HEUNG actually started an extramarital affair with YAN. The giggles, anger and scolds just never ends.

TONG believed HO was more suitable than his oldest son KO YI TAI (Joel Chan) to be his successor, which later led to discontent. Eventually HO was kicked out of the family, leaving him homeless. Living out alone, HO got a taste of the bitterness in life and was determined to return home and take revenge on his adopted family under a different name TUNG BOON SIN. Under his new identity, he vowed to give them a taste of losing their loved ones. Meanwhile, he meets his childhood best friend TSUI SAM (Niki Chow) again. The good-hearted SAM just took over the family soy sauce business, but HO did not hesitate to take advantage of his long time friendship with SAM, deceiving her money and heart. HO also plays Ko Family's two daughters, KO YI KUI (Elaine Yiu) and KO YI NGA (Katy Kung) in unscrupulous ways. HO has his own mechanism and plots, which turns him into the biggest love cheater.

Due to an accident, Radio DJ YIP CHI YAN (Charmaine Sheh) re-encounters her good friends from childhood who used to be in a band with her LAU JUN HUNG (Bowie Lam), SUNG YI LONG (Moses Chan), CHEUNG SUK LING (Angela Tong) and CHENG ZHEN HIN (Kenny Wong). Not only did the reunion allowed reminiscence of the teenage period 18 years ago when they were a band, but also evoked the hidden and bitter memories. YAN holds a deep grudge against her 4 friends because they didn't save her boyfriend KA MING's life in the accident that occurred several years back when they were out mountain climbing. Because of this incident, YAN became completely lost in her love life and unable to get out of this predicament.

On one hand, the four good friends loves YAN dearly, but on the other hand, each of them are struggling for survival in the real world. The five of them gets tied in a knot and rolls into a whirlpool of complex relationships, waiting to be rescued.

Emperor Daoguang put aside the ceremony in which Yuen Yuen would be pronounced the Empress Consort in order to save childhood friend, Yee Lan. Emperor Daoguang broke tradition and declared Yee Lan his concubine, inciting a jealous rivalry among concubines in the palace.

Left exhausted by the repeated battles, Emperor Daoguang also accidentally discovered that Empress Consort Hao Sun was allegedly having an affair with his younger half-brother, Prince Sui (Joel Chan).

Caught between the different political forces within the palace, Yee Lan did not want her fate to be maneuvered by others. Abandoning her kind nature and turning evil instead, Yee Lan became a ruthless woman.

Pro Sir works closely with Senior Pathologist Mandy Chung (Maggie Cheung Ho-yee) in a wide range of fields including psychology, anthropology, criminology and forensic science.
CID Senior Inspector Ada Ling (Kate Tsui) and Sergeant Lee Chin-fung (Ron Ng) work together cracking many murder cases. Their relationship goes from good friends 'brothers' to a pair of lovers.
With a backbone of 12 cases, the forensic scientists, forensic doctors and the police all work together to accommodate each other to solve these cases. The perspective in this third installment is much wider than the previous two seasons with a legal standpoint in addition to the forensics.
